Да, self-publishers - это недорогая ниша. Как, интересно, ищут дорогу в publishers' circle?
Недавно мой друг публиковался через Farrar, Straus and Giroux, так я за одну на мой взгляд вшивую фотографию на обороте получила $600. А обложка стоила $5K + дополнительно за promo materials:
